Europe has so many amazing cities it is difficult to choose which one to visit. If you are planning a city break in Europe you really are spoilt for choice. There’s something for everyone, whether you are looking for the best cuisine, site seeing or adventure holidays, you will find it all in Europe. First Choice has some of the best deals out there at the moment, there are always great offers to be had in the first few months of each year so be sure to snap up one of the great deals when you see them. I have done my best to select my favourite 3 cities in Europe, let me know if you agree with my list and which cities you would add to the list. So, here’s the 3 cities in Europe that you must see!
Rome is probably my favourite city on the planet, no other city has blown me away like the Italian capital. There is so much history and culture here that it is impossible not to fall in love with the place. Visiting the Colosseum and the Pantheon is amazing, they are simply breath taking! Once you have finished visiting the sites you will be able to stroll down the small cobbled streets and sit at a trendy cafe for a delicious lunch and some of the best coffee you will ever taste.
Another favourite of mine! Despite all of the recent problems in Greece it is still a place that continues to wow the millions of tourists that flock there every year. You will not only be able to marvel in the ancient history but you will also experience a really modern and hip city in Athens. Head to the Acropolis to see the place where democracy was born, visiting some of the ancient wonders of the world makes your trip worthwhile. When I think of the best cities in Europe Athens instantly springs to mind, the mythical city will blow you away.
Ok, so I might be biased because this is my home town but I know that it is an amazing place! It such a cool place full of history and it also has some of the best museums that you will see, the best part of that is that they are usually free. So whether you want to see the queen in Buckingham Palace, listen to the latest bands in Camden or shop till you drop in Oxford Street, it’s all here for you in London. I love going back to the capital of England because it never ever fails to impress, it is constantly evolving and changing it never gets old!
