Just six miles away from Trinidad, the Valley de los Ingenios offers you an opportunity to admire an incredible landscape. A great place to learn more about the history of Trinidad, the Valley de los Ingenios was once an industrial centre, with more than 70 cane sugar mills and a lot of smaller buildings that can still be visited. While they do not longer work, these sugar mills and their surroundings have recently been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
